Love your cocktails - but don’t appreciate the ridicule of my religion.

Surprisingly good, even though I'm not a fan of orange juice in cocktails - the cranberry vodka seems to balance out the acidity in the orange
Wanted to make it less boozy so used half whiskey but 5mls each cacaos, a drizzle of syrup, 1 good dash bitters and 10ml lime. Decorated with a Luxardo cherry for a bit added sweetness
Too strong on the coffee for me; great for those who want a coffee forward taste over the alcohol
It makes for a long drink with a low alcohol content. It is sweet and some may wish to increase the lime, and r possibly use passion fruit juice and mango juice instead of purée. But overall I love it
I'm going to agree with you regarding the sour element of many cocktails and - having a sweet tooth myself - I find that I use less lemon/lime than recommended, usually about 5mls less.
So this was an ideal cocktail for me. Perhaps too easy to drink! It reminded me of a lemon tart and that's no bad thing IMO.
I'm surprised by this recipe as a Fluffy Duck is usually made with gin instead of rum and has the addition of triple sec and orange juice. The recipe given is more akin to a Rumble, which is 2 measures of advocaat, to 1 of white rum, topped with lemonade
Slutty? Basic bitch? Why is this allowed?
Lovely balance of flavours between sweet and tangy. Packed with orange flavours and a real treat.
Make no mistake- Lanique is not a liqueur, it comes in at 39% and packs a punch in both flavour and strength. It is sweet, and requires a cocktail or serve with balance and the classic serve of ice and lime works well.
It is a true Turkish Delight rose taste without being cloying. It's vastly underrated in my opinion.
Used black tot rum as it was the only thing to hand, but very nice indeed
Love this drink! Easy to drink and tastes of orangey coconut
I was sceptical about whiskey and Advocaat, but it does work. The whiskey does shine, despite the sherry and the Smokey whiskey adds a nice flourish in spite of its minuscule measure.
Nice cocktail and works well with the strawberry gin - I used Latin Lover gin, but opted peychauds bitters
I enjoyed this, but it is very sweet even for my taste and I love sweet cocktails. It needs lots of ice to tone it down. I’d be tempted to lower the amounts of Drambuie and Galliano
Think Baileys but without the cream
This is good and kudos to you!
Loved this - Hubby said it was 'decent' so he liked it as well.
Far too easy to drink!
Good gingery flavour, warming and sweet. I have made this also using Butterscotch syrup as a substitute for the liqueur, but dial back to around 15ml unless you really like it sweet.
I do really love this variation of Aviation as the Chartreuse adds a depth to a classic drink. Highly recommended
Very boozy, but very good. It needs a generous serving of ice for dilution!
I found that despite the tiny amount of Violette, it overpowered the ginger - added an extra 5ml ginger; but then again, I love ginger
It’s boozy and warming and yes, I agree a sprig of rosemary adds an interesting contrast.
Really enjoyed this - I only used 10ml of maple syrup as it seemed sweet enough to me with the triple sec, though appreciate some orange gins are less sweet than the one I used (Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla)
