If U re waiting for a Negroni kind of drink, don't do it. Should be graded 2 on the sweet scale. But if U like sugary recipes, go for it, it really tastes like a sweet or a bubble-gum.
That was nice, once stirred a bit oO If not stirred, U ll get a lot of beer before anything else, which was not my point in trying this recipe. But after, it had a good balance, main taste would be orangey & bourbon. The size of Ur glass will definitely be important.
Did it with rye because hadn't Bourbon in the bar at the time, benedictine and Smoked vanilla bitter from french bitter brand "Beeter" to twist it. Had to restrain meself from having a second it was so good. Rich, still with the woody-herbs hints from the Benedictine, enhancing flavours from the Rye.
Tried it with Dead Man's fingers spiced rum, Bundaberg Ginger beer and Smoked vanilla bitter from french artisanal brand "Beeter", that counterbalances perfectly the ginger. This was just incredible.
