Sublime. The ingredients compliment each other perfectly, creating a moreish drink that tastes far greater than the sum of it's parts. I upped the bourbon and Chartreuse to 0.75oz as others have done. Off to make my second now...

Rich and fulsome, with a surprising complexity. And then I read Pascal's comment below and added a Laphroaig 10 topper. Absolutely divine.
Had this at a bar, they added a little Laphroaig 10 and called it 'Meat Hook'. Simply Amazing!
Thanks for the Laphroaig tip - this takes it to the next level!
Delicious, more-ish, lip-smacking goodness. I found omitting the sugar, but dropping a syrup-coated Luxardo cherry into the glass instead, to be the perfect recipe.
All of my favourite things. I subbed in a Japanese blend for the Dewar's and used Ardbeg for the smoky kick. Sublime and smooth!
