This is an amazing cocktail. I used Steves method with stuff I had on hand, lagavulin, Vida. Very complex but well balanced and tasty. Love it.

I indulged in an Italian Holiday made with Foursquare Master Series No. 4 and an Italian Amaro. Quite nice—tiki at the high end.

The Oaxacanite is a refined evolution of the margarita, offering nuanced layers beyond the classic salt-rimmed standard. Its subtle natural salinity enhances the earthy and citrus notes, creating a balanced profile perfect for pairing with authentic Mexican cuisine.

The Sawyer feels like a missed opportunity. With three bitters and gin’s botanicals, it should sing, but it falls flat—complexity without harmony, leaving the drink underwhelming.

The Port of Spain cocktail delivers a refined twist on the Trinidad Sour, offering a brighter, more refreshing profile. Its restrained use of bitters makes it more cost-effective, while still delivering complex layers of flavor.

The Port of Spain cocktail is a standout—more balanced and approachable than a Trinidad Sour, with a lighter, crisper profile. It delivers all the complexity without the heavy pour of bitters, making it both refreshing and cost-friendly.
