These bitters can't compete with the Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas bitters. They are too weak to stand up to a 50% abv whisky.
This is the finest aromatic bitter that I've ever tasted.
I enjoy it mostly in a 100% rye whisky and I wrote to the Bitter Truth company to tell them how much I appreciate this bitter.
I keep ordering the Jerry Thomas bitter because it improves the taste of every American or Canadian whisky I enjoy.
These are the best bitters I have ever tried. They deserve a quality 100% rye whisky. I only use this fabulous Bogart's bitters with this excellent Canadian rye. It needs a fabulous rye to shine and improve which is already wonderful.
