What a delightful formula! I used Ardbeg Uigedal and Kirkland 15 yr sherry cask and it was sublime.

This is a great drink! I made a slight modification and used two parts rye (split between Old Forester and Alberta Premium Cask Strength) to one part everything else and it is lovely.
I’m a big fan of this cocktail. While hosting guests I did a variation with Lairds BIB Apple Brandy and it was a hit. I did a 50/50 split of Lairds to Ferrand 10 Generations Cognac.
I really enjoy this but made a few variations. I used Del Maguey Las Milpas and added an extra 3/4 oz of Don Fulani Fuerte. I also added a touch of saline solution and it comes across a bit drier with a hint of salt that suites my tastes.
I made this and really enjoyed it but made a few variations. I substituted Del Maguey Las Milpas and added 3/4 oz of Don Fulani Fuerte. The subtle smoke is still there but balanced it for my tastes and made it a touch drier.
This recipe is delightful! I made a few adjustments, using Doc Swinson’s Alter Ego Cask Strength in place of the cognac, Del Maguey Las Milpas, and Carpano Antica instead of Punt e Mes. The flavors are well balanced and delicious but with slightly higher abv.
This recipe is a delightful! I made a few adjustments, using Doc Swinson’s finished Alter Ego Cask Strength bourbon in place of the cognac, Del Maguey Las Milpas, and Antica Carpano Vermouth. Its well balanced with a more robust on abv.
