A blend of eaux-de-vie aged 12-25 years mainly in Limousin oak from the best vineyards in the Appelation, Bas Armagnac and Tenarèze, 80% of which are distilled using Armagnacais single distillation and 20% double distilled.
The blue livery on the Basquaise bottle was apparently chosen due to being “the colour of the Third Millennium: the blue of lapis-lazuli, the gem capable to free the creative expression and increase mental clearness”. So there you go.
