Distilled on the Scottish mainland using hand-harvested Shetland botanicals, as the name suggests this Blackwood's ‘vintage’ edition varies slightly year by year and is bottled at a premium strength of 60% alc./vol., apparently a reference to Shetland being at a latitude of 60 degrees north.

The botanicals used from Shetland include: coriander, wild water mint, angelica root and meadowsweet flowers.
