Cîroc Peach Flavoured Vodka (35% alc./vol.)

Difford's Guide

alc./vol: 35%

Proof: 70°

Vintage: Non-vintage

Aged: Unaged

Launched in the USA in January 2012, Ciroc Peach, as the name suggests is a peach-flavoured vodka, although the alcohol strength is below what would properly constitute a vodka, accordingly the bottle does not say it is a vodka, merely that it is “made with vodka”.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/04/2013

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Overripe, concentrated peach and passion fruit – concentrated to the extent that it does not smell natural. Subtle note of cracked black pepper.

Taste:

Sweet with concentrated fruit flavours more reminiscent of sweets/candy rather than flavoured ‘vodka’. That said, something of a crowd pleaser for the non-discerning.

Aftertaste:

Boiled sweets and cracked black pepper with lingering sugary flavours.
