See more Belgium strong pale ales
Rare Vos is Flemish for ‘Sly Fox’ and is also the name of one of Brussels’ renowned cafés, so obviously a fitting name for the Belgium-style American amber ale.
Sampled on 13/09/2012
Slight haze, vibrant rust-copper with lasting head and heavy lacing.
Fruity (ripe plum and pear), clove with faint mandarin orange zest.
Voluptuous Belgium-style, bittersweet, lightly peppery malty palate with sweet mandarin orange zest, clove and cinnamon spice.
Lightly cinnamon spiced, malty peppery finish.
