See more Gueuze Lambics
First brewed in 1975, this 100 per cent lambic, unfiltered gueuze is brewed using wild Brettanomyces yeast. The bulk of the beer is aged an average of two years in oak casks with 5 percent of one year old and 5 percent three year old lambics added to the blend.
Experimentado em 19/04/2012
(2009-10 brewing season) Cloudy, wet sand orange-amber with a thick off-white head which subsides to a long-lasting 1/2 finger layer with lace that fails to cling.
Sour smelling with tinned rhubarb, earthy/slightly dungy, zesty lemon and faint rubbed mint leaf.
Creamy, somewhat sour and acidic palate with high carbonation. Tart grapefruit and under ripe pear.
Dry sherry-like cleansing acidity with lingering cider-like stewed apple flavours.
