Review and Tasting

Sampled on 10/05/2012

Appearance:

Hazy with clumps of yeast, very dark reddy brown with thick head and moderate lacing.

Aroma:

Clove influenced Christmas pudding served with mince pie.

Taste:

Currants, raisin and brown sugar in a powerful sea of strong malty alcohol and black pepper spice. Surprisingly quaffable considering its high strength.

Aftertaste:

Burnt raison and black pepper finish.
