Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/08/2012

Appearance:

Clear, bright golden.

Aroma:

Pungent turmeric spice with thyme, mint jelly and Bramley apple.

Taste:

Boiled sweets and quince with only slight discernible rhubarb flavour. (There again what do you perceive rhubarb to taste like – rhubarb crumble? We suspect this liqueur seeks to mimic fresh raw rhubarb.)

Aftertaste:

White pepper and boiled sweets with faint raw rhubarb.
