Released October 2012, the first in a series of single cask Glenrothes bottlings from the late 1960s and 1970s. The iconic Glenrothes bottle is presented as a hand-blown lead crystal decanter, each individually made at Atlantis Crystal in Alcobaca, Portugal.
The hand-engraved collar on the neck of the decanter is supplied by Charles Stott, of the Edinburgh-based Scottish Silversmiths, while the head of the stopper is fashioned from the wood of the very cask # 10573 in which the whisky has matured.
