This Golden Ale uses a combination of English First Gold hops and American Cascade hops. It’s made using the same malted barley as the rest of Hawshead brews and water from the River Kent which the brewery stands adjacent to. Part of the brewery’s ‘huge hop’ range.

Aparência:

(sample best before 28-May-13) Clear, deep, coppery amber with thin off-white head.

Aroma:

Caramel, apple and yeast with berry pine hops.

Sabor:

Sweet bready barley and apple juice with muscular tea tannings, bitter pine sap and grassy hops.

Aftertaste:

Caramel and lingering bitter pine.
