Made with rum imported from the Virgin Islands and then blended with spices by Heaven Hill Distilleries in Bardstown, Kentucky. Blackheart shout not to be confused with ‘Black Heart’ rum (two words).

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Treacle and delicate cinnamon spice with peaches, dried fruit and fruit cake.

Taste:

Black pepper and cinnamon spice attacks the palate with underlying peach fruit (somewhat synthetic tasting), baked apple, dried fruit, honey and maple syrup. Underlying sweetness is masked by the spice.

Aftertaste:

Burnt dried fruit, apple, cinnamon and maple finish.
