“Based on an old Philadelphia recipe for Rhubarb Tea that began in the late 1700s when Benjamin Franklin first introduced rhubarb to America” and made with “rhubarb, beets, carrots lemons, petitgrain, cardamom, pink peppercorns, coriander, vanilla and pure cane sugar.

Incidentally, petitgrain is an essential oil extracted from the leaves and green twigs of the bitter orange plant. Art In The Age Rhuby is certified “USA Organic”.

Aparência:

Very pale straw yellow.

Aroma:

Custard cream, rhubarb and custard chews, vanilla ice-cream, lime zest, pink grapefruit, red pepper corns and rose petal.

Sabor:

The balance between alcohol bite and sugar results in this initially being deceptively perceived as being lower alcohol strength than is the reality, that is until peppery alcohol spice kicks in. Delicately flavoured with vanilla, mandarin zest, pink grapefruit and clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Lime cordial, Tizer-like flavours, vanilla and cracked black pepper.
