Tamesis Extra Stout is named after the Celtic name for the River Thames and the label is graced by Old Man Thames. Thamesis Extra Stout is brewed with oatmeal, chocolate malts and roast barley with Fuggles and Goldings hops.

Appearance:

(sample best before 19.Nov.14) Clear, deep brown almost black with thin, quickly diminishing tan head.

Aroma:

Mocha coffee, charcoal, treacle and chicory.

Taste:

Lightly smoky chicory, charcoal, mocha coffee and faint liquorice.

Aftertaste:

Mocha coffee, charcoal, bitter chocolate and liquorice.
