Brewed only using fresh pressed ginger, lemon juice and demerara sugar, Umbrella describe their ginger beer as being “cloudy, fiery & alcoholic” “with flavours of rich molasses supported by the perfect balance of sharp citrus and a subtle hint of malt. Gently carbonated and very refreshing.”

Each bottle has a natural sediment from the ginger root and Umbrella say that “to properly enjoy our Ginger Beer, gently turn the bottle over before drinking.
Best Served Chilled.”

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden with steady streams of rising bubbles.

Aroma:

Pungent ginger and zesty lemon with some rooty herbal aromas.

Taste:

Spicy ginger with lemon citrus freshness and a pleasing bite. Ginger is aggressive but pleasantly so.

Aftertaste:

Enlivening long lingering ginger spice on both sides of the tongue.

Overall:

An enjoyable and truly artisanal ginger beer with both alcohol and spice in good measure.
