This gently carbonated apple drink is made with apple juice, green tea kombucha, distilled bicarbonate water, apple cider vinegar (ACV) and fresh ginger. Importantly, the apples are grown, and the drink made on the producer's farm in Herefordshire.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Cloudy pale yellow with slight green tinge. Thin off-white head from carbonation.

Aroma:

Fresh apple juice and skins with light cider vinegar and very faint ginger.

Taste:

Sweet apple well-balanced by light vinegar tartness and very delicate ginger spice.

Aftertaste:

Lingering apple and light vinegar tartness.

Overall:

It's not often we're excited by a soft-drink. However, Willy's Natural Energy drink is the exception and has been a hit in our office since the sample case arrived. It is slightly sweet and yet tart with a complex apple flavour. Containing apple cider vinegar, kombucha and fresh apple juice, it boasts healthy credentials but we're drinking it simply because it tastes great.
