Distilled and matured at the Midleton Distillery for 18 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, then blended and re-casked in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, before a final further 6 to 12 months maturation in the Maturation House at the old Jameson Distillery in Bow Street, Dublin.
Bottled at cask-strength without the use of chill-filtration and presented in a bottle with 18 facets – one for each year of maturation.
The first edition (Batch One) of Jameson Bow Street 18 Years Cask Strength was released in April 2018, with Batch Two being released in August 2019.

(tasting sample Batch Two) Clear, pale-mid golden amber.
Apricot and orange marmalade, vanilla fudge, charcoal, toasty – almost pencil shaving oak, clove and cinnamon spice. Water releases chamois leather-like aromas.
Dry toasty oak, vanilla and sweet sherry before spirituous peppery and cinnamon spice take hold. Water amplifies toasty oak even more, but with it, also marmalade fruit and nutty notes.
Sweet vanilla fudge fades to leave lingering toasted oak, cinnamon and clove spice.
Toasty oak, bordering on pencil shavings, dominates this whiskey, partially masking attractive fruit and sherry notes. Takes water well so one bottle of this cask-strength whiskey packs an awful lot of flavour.
