Robyn Cleveland, a career bartender and founding president of the Detroit Chapter of the USBG, fell in love with aquavit when he first tried it while in Denmark in 2003. Now a self-taught distiller, he and his wife, Summer, who is of Scandinavian descent, set out to create the perfect modern Aquavit

Norden Aquavit is made by infusing 10 botanicals in organic neutral spirits (from Midwestern USA grown corn). The botanicals used are Caraway, Clementine, Sumac, Orris, Sage, Anise, Angelica, Juniper, Dill and Coriander.

Aparência:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent caraway with dill, juniper and coriander with milk chocolate and pear skin. Freshening coriander and anise.

Sabor:

Fresh and lightly spicy. Caraway to the fore with dill, anise, zesty citrus, herbal complexity and subtle enlivening spice. Slight viscosity helps disguise the 45% alc./vol. strength.

Aftertaste:

Anise is more obvious on the herbal finish.
