This delicious, creamy liqueur is an amaretto liqueur, with its creamy/milky consistency due to being made from crushed almonds, alcohol and a touch of sugar. So, despite its being creamy, it is lactose-free.

Appearance:

Opaque, off white.

Aroma:

Pungent blanched almond with marzipan, almond butter and honeycomb toffee.

Taste:

Creamy sweet almond milk balanced by lightly bitter almond and honeycomb toffee.

Aftertaste:

Creamy toasted almond with light bitterness and creamy sweet almond milk.

Overall:

Best described as an almond milk liqueur, Adriatico Bianco is a drier, non-dairy alternative to traditional cream liqueurs with attractive almond notes throughout. Not as 'creamy' as a dairy cream liqueur but also not a cloying or filling. Its being lactose-free will appeal to many, and due to being made with almonds, it has a high protein content so foams like egg white when used in cocktails.
