Aparência:

Clear, deep golden amber. (sample third edition, bottle No. 0189 of 5460)

Aroma:

Pungent caramel, popcorn, maple syrup, vanilla and toasty oak with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice, walnut and faint overripe banana. Water realises dark rye bread aromas.

Sabor:

Rich caramel delays the hefty whack of cinnamon, clove and black pepper spice before mellowing to reveal rye bread, vanilla, walnut and pecan. Young wood notes are very strong. This needs water but be careful not to drown the spice.

Aftertaste:

Toasty, slightly burnt rye bread and warming spice.

No geral:

Oak notes are perhaps overly dominant to the extent that fruitiness is masked. However, the oak brings attractive vanilla and nuttiness that sits well with pronounced toasted/blackened rye breadiness.
