Overseen by expert winemaker, Marzio Pol, Fiol Rosé Prosecco is made from 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir grapes harvested in the province of Treviso, the heart of the Prosecco DOC area.

A controlled 60-day fermentation precedes Charmat method secondary fermentation which takes place in an autoclave over 30 days.

Created by Giovanni, Gian Luca, and Pietro, three friends from Treviso who are passionate about the wines from their region of Italy, they chose the name Fiol as this Venetian word refers to someone that stands out and who knows how to appreciate life.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 16/11/2021

Appearance:

Clear, pale salmon pink.

Aroma:

Raspberry, biscuity pie base, lemon, and faint floral honeysuckle.

Taste:

Jammy raspberry fruit on a dry palate with a light biscuity note, lemon citrus acidity, and white blossom floral notes.

Aftertaste:

Strawberry fruitiness joins raspberry in the long well-balanced finish.

Overall:

It's hard to criticise and easy to like this well-balanced fruity prosecco.
