Based on organic wheat alcohol nine times distilled and made without added sugar. Seiers say their "Lime Bitter is the embodiment of the of an element that can serve so many different purposes in a cocktail.

"It has a lot of floral notes to bring out the lightness of the lime peel and the oils from the peel.

"If used with heavily bitter tasting cocktails it takes some of the edge off the bitterness clearly evident when used with a dry gin.

"If you put a drop in when enjoying a straight tequila blanco and will also add a fruitiness and complement the floral notes from the agave."

Appearance:

Clear, deep bronze amber.

Aroma:

Pungent, oily lime zest.

Taste:

Intense lime zest with bitter oils and rooty bitterness. Despite not having added sugar there is a slight sweetness which helps balance these bitters.

Overall:

Intensely lime in fragrance and flavour. With lime a key ingredient in so many cocktails these bitters could be used to good effect in a host of cocktails.
