Designed to be used in cocktails or mixed long with tonic water, Lutèce Apéritif is made with lemons, linden flowers, gentian root and bay leaf, steeped in sugar beet neutral spirit.

The infusion is distilled, and the distillate diluted with water, cane sugar, and colour (sourced from beets and carrots).

Aparência:

Clear, pale salmon.

Aroma:

Herbal led by bay leaf, lemon verbina, rosemary and sage. Faint menthol.

Sabor:

On the bitter side of bittersweet. Herbal with gentian, bay leaf, zesty lemon and white pepper.

Aftertaste:

Long herbal, gentian bitter, white pepper finish.

No geral:

This aperitif is designed to be mixed, chiefly with tonic water, the quinine in which amplifies this aperitif's bitter gentian notes, masking some of Lutèce's more nuanced notes. There must be a more suited mixer to harness the flavours in this herbal aperitivo.
