Made with the piñas of semi-wild Arroqueño agave, which can take up to 18 years to mature, roasted in a conical pit over hot rocks then fermented with wild yeast and double distilled in traditional clay stills.
Del Maguey Arroqueño Mezcal is made in thh village of Santa Catarina Minas in Oaxaca by Florencio Carlos Sarmiento, Florencio Carlos Vasquez, and Luis Carlos Vasquez.
