Distilled from warm air dried malted barley and matured exclusively in sherry seasoned European oak casks for 25 years in traditional dunnage warehouses. Glengoyne 25 Year Old is bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration. The heavy bottle has a metal stopper and is packaged in an oak box.

Appearance:

Clear, deep amber.

Aroma:

Orange zest, cherry, raspberry and old leather with honey, shortbread and fresh apricot. With water: toasty oak and apricot marmalade.

Taste:

Dry oak tannins, pencil shavings, cinnamon spice and bitter piney Seville marmalade. Takes water better than many sherried malts but is best with water on the side.

Aftertaste:

Dry tannic oak and cinnamon with black liquorice and pine.
