Planta Baja (meaning Ground floor) is actually a semi-subterranean cocktail bar housed in a brick-lined, tunnel-like, atmospherically lit space.

Cocktails are classically led with signature cocktails riffs on classics (e.g. the Babaganilicin is a variation on a Penicillin with pineapple, turmeric and cayenne pepper.

This is one of those rare and special bars where the owner is very likely to be your bartender. After years of bartending in different countries, Kevo Jacoby, originally from Buenos Aires, opened his dream bar in June 2024. His years of experience show in everything from the cocktails to the custom-built, single-level bar stations.

With both high and low seating and a warm atmosphere, helped by well-chosen playlists and a DJ at weekends, Planta Baja is a very welcoming bar. When you visit, be sure to try Kevo's Daiquiri, which he makes with both light and dark rums and saline solution.
