Established in 1836 by Edmond Briottet and located in Dijon, France, Briottet’s Crème de Banane is made with bananas from the Costa Rica which are hand-peeled to expose their pulp. This is macerated in beet neutral alcohol to release the banana’s flavour.

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden amber.

Aroma:

Mashed bananas, fried banana and banana cake mix with faint white pepper spice.

Taste:

Surprisingly spicy - white pepper and cinnamon with fried dried banana chips and some fresh mashed banana.

Aftertaste:

Flavours in palate fade with lingering spice.

Overall:

Freshly mashed banana pulp and fried banana chips flavours with light white pepper and cinnamon spice.
