Created thanks to collaboration between Wild Beer Brewery and Hobbs House Bakery, this ale is fermented in oak casks using Hobbs House Bakery's 58 year old Sourdough yeast. The result is loosely based on a Berliner Weisse, a historical Sour beer style from Northern Germany.
Sampled on 13/03/2014
Hazy, orange amber. What little head there is quickly disappears.
Sour apple, yeasty brown bread and faint cider vinegar.
Tart and sour. Apple juice, bread, faint raspberry and vinegar.
Sour, bready and dry.
