Created in 2015 in collaboration with Australia's highest-profile chef Neil Perry and Qantas airlines, as the name suggests this gin is a contemporary take on the classic juniper-led style of gin.
Distilled in copper pot stills with juniper and native Australian and Asian botanicals, including lemon myrtle, red and green Szechuan, quandong, macadamia nuts, fresh grapefruit peel, and Rosie Glow apples.
Slightly sweet entry leads to a dry moderately spicy palate with a soft mouthfeel. Red and green Sichuan peppercorns add flavour and spice but do not overpower this juniper-forward gin with subtle citrus and apple fruit.
Long lingering peppery spice, piney juniper and faint citrus.
