Shot & old fashioned glass
Lemon sorbet and black pepper
Combine all ingredients except for the sorbet in a mixing tin. Shake for 10 seconds and double strain into a chilled Old Fashioned glass dusted with black pepper.
To dust the rim, use a brush and condensed milk to paint a stripe across your glass. After painting the glass, dust fresh cracked black pepper across the condensed milk. Garnish with lemon sorbet, either in a shot glass placed in the center of cocktail glass or in a lemon peel hammock.

The cocktail was inspired by my recent trip to Maui for my birthday. I wanted to share my beautiful experiences on the Maui beaches laying in the sand, enjoying cocktails and shaved ice while watching the sunset. Each component represents a different piece of this experience, and when it's all combined it creates an immersive experience for every person who enjoys this cocktail. The cocktail flavor represents the bright, citrusy, and fruit flavors found throughout the island, it keeps you refreshed and wanting more. The black pepper represents the sandy shores that I spent most of my days on; warm and comfortable and dusting your body with every move. The color of the cocktail represents the mesmerizing skies as the sun set each day. The sorbet represents the falling sun and the moments enjoying the shaved ice while watching it set. Many of the nights concluded with us finishing our shaved ice, the sorbet can be eaten in between sips or it can sink into the cocktail for a different flavor profile. Sunset Paradise will bring you to the shores of Maui and back. A cocktail designed to be enjoyed as an experience.
