Orange Twist
Select and pre-chill a Nick and Nora glass.
In a mixing glass combine Mandarine Napoleon, Rum, Bourbon whiskey, and Velvet Falernum, Peychaud's bitters, and Angostura Bitters.
Stir with ice.
Rinse the chilled glass with Absinthe and discard any excess.
Strain into the chilled glass.
Express the oils from an orange peel over the top of the drink and use for garnish.
1/2 fl oz | Mandarine Napoleon liqueur |
3/4 fl oz | Pusser's Navy Rum (54.5% alc./vol.) |
3/4 fl oz | Bourbon whiskey |
1/4 fl oz | John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum Liqueur |
1 dash | Peychaud's Aromatic Bitters |
1 dash | Angostura or other aromatic bitters |
1 dash | Absinthe verte |
