The Veuve Clicquot 2004 is the 64th Vintage from the champagne house. It is an assemblage of 62 per cent Pinot Noir, 30 per cent Chardonnay and 8 per cent Pinot Meunier from twenty of the best Grands and Premier Crus (or villages).

2004 was widely acknowledged as an outstanding vintage in Champagne with excellent ripeness levels of the fruit, combined with very strong acidity.

Launched in October 2011.

Όψη:

Clear, pale straw yellow with vigorous mousse.

Μύτη:

Buttery cooking apple, greengage fruit and strawberry nose with chalky mineral aromas.

Στόμα:

Full-bodied, fresh, palate with strong lemony acidity, rhubarb and rosemary spice.

Επίγευση:

Medium finish with citrus acidity and green apple flavours and faint clove.
