Distilled at the since closed Port Dundas grain distillery in Glasgow, This very rare single grain whisky was the first ever 100% grain released in Diageo's Special Releases series.

Distilled in 1990 and drawn from three different casks, the whisky was first aged three years in refill casks, then in equal parts, aged for 17 more years in either new American oak bodega, new European oak charred or first fill ex-bourbon American oak.

Released in October 2011 and bottled at natural cask strength, just 1,920 individually numbered bottles were made available worldwide.

Όψη:

Clear, deep polished chestnut.

Μύτη:

Cigar box, eucalyptus nose with madeira wine and boatyard varnish.

Στόμα:

Sweet entry to the palate with heavy varnish and woody flavours.

Επίγευση:

Liquorice and sandalwood, dry, resinous spicy finish.
