Named after a P50 Pannepot, a type of Belgian fishing boat from the coastal village of De Panne, the painting which graces the label is of such a boat owned by one of the brewer's grandparents. This dark ale brewed with added spices was first made in 2004.
Sampled on 10/06/2012
Very dark brown – almost black with a large, long lasting beige head leaving spotted lacing.
Sour bread and dark chocolate with demarara sugar, orange zest and cinnamon.
