The largest beer brand in East Africa, Tusker is named in memory of George Hurst who was killed by an elephant during a hunting expedition in 1923. He was co-founder of Kenya Breweries Ltd so was instrumental in this beers creation.

Tusker lager is brewed using malted barley grown in the Kenyan Rift Valley below Mt. Kenya and spring water drawn from the Aberdare mountain ranges.

Αξιολόγηση

Η γευσιγνωσία έχει ξαναγίνει στις 1st May 2011

Όψη:

Clear, plale blond amber.

Μύτη:

Freshly fried plain pancakes doused with a few drops of lemon juice.

Στόμα:

Pretty uneventful, nothing offensive but apart from a touch of unripe banana, no real flavour or character either.

Επίγευση:

Short finish - what little falvour there is dies quickly. A light crisp and refreshing lager - served ice cold probably better appreciated in the Kenyan heat.
