Review and Tasting

Sampled on 23/04/2024

Appearance:

Clear, mid-golden amber.

Aroma:

Fresh sun-ripened apricot skins, apricot tart, light blossom and apricot stones with aromatic mango skin and faint spice.

Taste:

Cooked and confected apricot with apricot skin and marzipan notes. Lightly syrupy sweetness is balanced by assertive citric acidity.

Aftertaste:

Lingering baked apricot pastry and apricot conserve, with red apple skin, banana chews and cinnamon spice.

Overall:

Good apricot flavours with almond notes but with overly aggressive citric acidity.
