See more Belgium strong pale ales
Wildeman Farmhouse is a strong Belgium-style India Pale Ale brewed using saison yeast with rye and Munich malts. Unusually the Flying Dog brewery have kept its hop contents a mystery saying it’s a secret blend of several varieties.
Sampled on 07/08/2013
Cloudy, pale amber with huge, long lasting, white head and spotted lacing.
Red pepper corn spice, freshly milled barley, grass and ripe peach skin.
Heavily carbonated palate with CO2 bitterness. Grapefruit zest freshness and tartness, with subdued sweet bready notes.
Long part peach fruit and citrus zesty finish with lingering bitterness.
