Launched in 2006, St Austell’s IPA is made with Cornish spring water and locally grown, again Cornish, Maris Otter barley. This is hopped with Willamette, Cascade, Chinook hops.

Appearance:

(sample best before 31-Jul-13) Clear, deep coppery amber with two finger-thick off white head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Bready malt, red grapefruit and mandarin orange zest with slightly metallic piney hops.

Taste:

A very fruity, golden pale ale with slight sweetness and bitter sweet pink grapefruit and orange zest with piney hops.

Aftertaste:

Bready malt and citrus zest.
