Produced by Speciality Drinks as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series, this 16 year old Craigellachie was bottled in September 2013 from cask number 7286 filled in 1996. Bottled without chill filtration the cask yielded 312 bottles which were launched at London's 2013 Whisky Show.

Appearance:

Clear, pale straw golden.

Aroma:

Vanilla, linseed oil and leather with creamy fudge, macadamia nuts, faint sulphurous struck match and orange peel.

Taste:

Oily, leather, hot spice, dried fruit and citrus peel with vanilla sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Fruity with light white pepper spice.
