The East London Liquor Company’s second batch gin is based on British wheat neutral spirit infused and redistilled in a copper Holstein still with juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, thyme, winter savory, fenel seeds, orris root, lavender, lemon peel, sage and bay leaf.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Piney and nutty with pleasing thyme, bay leaf and fennel herbal freshness cheek by jowl with fragrant lavender.

Taste:

Lavender and herbal notes continue into and dominate the palate with piney juniper holding its own to make this a true gin. Angelica root is the underlying foundation with nutty balsawood notes.

Aftertaste:

Long, herbal and lightly spiced. Overall: Wonderfully fragrant, herbal and complex but with time will come fineness.
