Review and Tasting

Sampled on 01/12/2014

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Jammy blackberry, blackcurrant and raspberry – somewhat reminiscent of dilute Ribina – with underlying piney gin.

Taste:

Light sweetness. Traditional piney juniper gin notes are more forward with black and red berry fruit spiced with aggressive black pepper.

Aftertaste:

Lingering red berry notes, piney juniper and cracked black pepper. Overall: Wild berry is a tad too pervasive but it does what it says on the tin.
