Boasting Fairtrade credentials and “less than half the calories of regular cola” , “Aspartame free”, “no Phosphoric acid”, “non GMO”, Gusto will appeal to a certain type of cola drinker.

Gusto Cola is made using organic and Fairtrade certified cane sugar from Paraguay and organic and Fairtrade Vanilla extract from Madagascar. Besides the sugar it is sweetened with organic stevia extract and erythritol.

Όψη:

(sample can produced 04/Apr/16, BB 04/Oct/17) Cloudy, teak brown with bubbles creating broken thin ring of beige foam around inside of glass.

Μύτη:

Raw pastry dough, lemon zest, cola cubes and light herbal rootiness.

Στόμα:

Soft, less intense in flavour than some other colas with rooty notes and sweetness both dialed back. Well-balanced and rounded with attractive citrus notes.

Επίγευση:

Cola cubes and sarsaparilla. Off-putting lingering pastry dough sweetener note.

Συνολική αίσθηση:

A cola for the health and environmentally couscous, but perhaps not for those who are used to and like the flavours of more mainstream colas. Finish lets this righteous cola down.
