Created by Danny Bouvery this "Chocolate Vodka" liqueur (that's what the CV stands for) is based on neutral corn spirit with organic Fair Trade cocoa and natural flavours sweetened with cane sugar. Perhaps worth stating that THIS IS A LIQUEUR AND NOT A CHOCOLATE FLAVOURED VODKA.

Όψη:

(sample batch #4 bottle #105) Opaque. Deep chocolate brown. Thick and viscous.

Μύτη:

Chocolate sponge cake, melted chocolate and delicate vanilla.

Στόμα:

Thick melted liquid dark chocolate truffle. Faint nuttiness, vanilla and cinnamon. Richness is toned by a subtle alcohol bite. Slight powdered note to the mouthfeel.

Επίγευση:

Creamy, reminiscent of chocolate ice-cream.

This liqueur is best likened to drinking melted rich, thick liquid chocolate with a very light alcohol bite. An indulgent liquid dessert. Beware of milk content and give a good shake before opening.
