Sampled on 10/03/2021

Appearance:

Clear, deep garnet red.

Aroma:

Ripe red fruit and cocoa with an attractive oakiness and very delicate spice.

Taste:

Ripe berry fruit tamed and made complex by beautifully balanced dry oak tannin complexity. Faint notes of cocoa and coffee.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering interplay between rich red fruit and dry oaky tannins

Overall:

Rich red berry fruit garnished with cocoa bean and balanced and made special by layers of tea-like tannins and dry faintly smoky toasty oak.
