Review and Tasting

Sampled on 20/10/2024

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Sunble with ripe peach and floral elderflower/honeysuckle.

Taste:

Rich peach fruit balanced by citric acidity.

Aftertaste:

Stewed peach and citrus finish.

Overall:

Perhaps better with the alcohol dialled up a little and the citrus acidity toned down. The massive one-litre bottle detracts from the otherwise elegant design. Less is more - especially for an 18% alc./vol. liqueur that will be prone to the ravages of oxygenation once opened.
