First released in 1969, Cockburn's Special Reserve was a revolutionary new style of port that bridged the gap between vintage ports and younger ports.

Made from wines selected for their richness and concentration, Special Reserve is matured in oak vats for four to five years. This longer wood-maturation contributes to its full-bodied palate and dry finish.

Special Reserve is designed to be drunk immediately (not cellar-aged) with cheese of all styles and chocolate desserts. Or simply enjoyed neat in front of the telly.
